SUMMRYA :-
A) The Khabardas is committed to publishing accurate information across all of its content. We implement numerous measures to ensure accuracy, including investigating claims with skepticism, questioning assumptions, and challenging conventional wisdom.
B) We are committed to achieving absolute accuracy in all our outputs. This commitment is fundamental to our reputation and the trust of our audiences. The term “due” implies that the accuracy must be adequate and appropriate to the output, considering the subject and nature of the content. Any constraint that may influence this expectation should be explicitly mentioned or underlined.
C) This implies that all our output, commensurate with its content and nature, must be adequately sourced, based on available evidence, and corroborated. We endeavour to be forthright and transparent about our knowledge gaps and refrain from unfounded conjecture.
D) Our journalists never deliberately plagiarise, distort facts or context, including visual information, intentionally.
E) We provide a transparent platform for the public to submit suggestions for corrections or improvements to our reportage through the dedicated ‘Suggest A Correction’ section, which is conveniently located at the end of every web-story published.
F) Our journalists’ primary responsibility is to report, write, and fact-check stories. Stories are subject to review by one or more editors. The Taazatime employs a multi-level fact-checking structure for stories that necessitate meticulous attention. The seniority of editors who review a story prior to publication is contingent upon various factors, such as the complexity of the subject matter, the sensitivity of the content, and the time constraints faced by the publication.
Our Correction Policies
Although The khabardas.com endeavours to maintain the highest standards of excellence and accuracy, we acknowledge that occasional errors may occur. Should such errors arise, The khabardas.com will promptly rectify them and ensure transparency to instil confidence among our users that the incorrect information is promptly addressed and does not disseminate.
Here are the steps each party must take to attain the objectives of accuracy, transparency, and excellence:
READERS:
Should a reader identify an error, they should promptly contact the editor-in-chief, Emilee Wentland, via email, telephone, postal correspondence, or in person.
Email :- khabardas.com@gmail.com
Sub : – correction neeed
A formal correction is not officially submitted until the reader directly contacts the editor-in-chief. Corrections submitted to other staff members of khabardas.com may not be addressed promptly or at all.
If sent via email or postal mail, corrections should include the correction itself, the date or number of the issue, the source of the error (print, online, etc.), the reader’s name and contact information (phone number or email address), and the correct information if applicable. For instance, if a Student Senate vote tally was incorrect, please provide the minutes from that meeting.
The reader can expect a response from the editor-in-chief and may be contacted further if a clarification is noted or the editor needs more information. Please note that a correction submission is a guarantee that the error will be investigated but not a guarantee that a correction will be issued.
THE KHABARDAS
Once the editor-in-chief is made aware of an error, he or she will investigate the error using the information provided by the reader, meeting minutes, reporter’s recordings and any other sources of information available to him or her.
If an error is found, the editor-in-chief will issue a correction in all forms that the information was incorrectly disseminated:
PRINT:
Corrections will be printed on page 2A of the next issue published. The correction will specify the issue, article, and the incorrect information along with the corrected version.
The article will be corrected and an editor’s note will be added to the bottom of the article noting what was incorrect and when the article was changed.
SOCIAL MEDIA:
If the article was published on Facebook, Twitter, or any other online platform controlled by khabardas.com, a post will be created linking to the corrected article, clearly indicating the correction.
Upon the correction being implemented, the editor-in-chief will contact the reader who submitted the correction, providing them with detailed information about the steps taken to rectify the error.
